Abstract

There are various applications of tribology in industry, biomedical field as well as dentistry. wear of screws and plates in bone. Dental applications of tribology involve mechanisms such as tooth brushing and mastication. This work offers a review of tribological aspects of human teeth, including; hardness, friction and wear.
