Biosmart Materials: Pioneering Innovation in Dental field
Keywords:
smart material, passive, active, shape memory, dentistryAbstract
The majority of dental materials are made to live rather "neutrally" in the mouth. They'll be more stable and durable if they're 'passive' and don't react to the oral environment. It is also anticipated that our materials would be favorably received and not be harmful or injurious. This is a wholly unfavorable approach to material tolerance and biocompatibility, and it obscures the prospect that employing materials that respond more dynamically to their surroundings may yield some benefits.
